What do you think of when you think of the word POVERTY? Type as many things as you can that you associate with it. Spotlight on Poverty and Opportunity Where do we see poverty? How do people end up living in poverty? SPENT You will go through the simulation one time. Once you finish, go to Google Classroom and record what day you stopped on. Did you make it through the month? If not, how far did you get? What sacrifices did you have to make? (Cutting pets, losing health insurance, etc) Did you cut ethical corners to survive? How do you think this would have actually worked in real life? What are some major categories of a budget that you identified in the game? What did you learn by playing the game?
