How do you feel about English class? I love English!! Meh I hate English... Did you do your summer reading? (We need to know so we can plan lessons, so be honest!) Yes! Getting there We had to read this summer? What do you enjoy doing in your free time? What type of books do you like to read? Three adjectives others might use to describe me are... When I read, I often find that I: Visualize what I am reading in my mind’s eye. Read out loud or hear the words inside my head. Fidget and try to “feel” the content. I prefer teachers who: Use a board or overhead projector while they lecture. Talk with lots of expression Use hands ­on activities. When trying to concentrate, I have a difficult time when: There is a lot of clutter or movement in the room. There is a lot of noise in the room. I have to sit still for any length of time.
