Watch the following video and then complete the chart with the correct number ordering the events of the Marie´s story. 10 Marie and Pierre Curie were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. 1 She was born on November 7, 1867 in Warsaw, Poland. 4 Marie moved to France where she began her university education in 1891. 7 She decided to study Uranium. 2 She studied and graduated at age of fifteen from a girls´ school with a gold medal. 8 She and Pierre discovered two new radioactive elements, Polonium and Radium. 5 Marie earned a masters degree in Physics and then, a second degree in Chemistry. 9 Marie earned her doctorate in Physics in 1903. 12 In 1911, Marie received her second Novel Prize in Chemistry. 6 Marie and Pierre Curie got married and they had two daughters. 3 Marie and her sister studied in secret at an unofficial night school, Flying University. 13 She died on July 4, 1934 from an illness caused by radiation. 11 Marie became a professor.
