Find the antecedent for each relative pronoun (whom whose, whom) in the following passage and write it with the appropriate number down below. If an antecedent is repeated, write it each time it appears. Cordus is the young man whom (1) Servilia loves. But her father has chosen Iullus, an older man whom (2) Servilia dislikes. Servilia, whose (3) best friend lately is her pet bird, does not know how to fight against the customs of her day and asks her brother, to whom (4) she turned in the past, for help. His advice is for her to make her life with the person who (5) has been chosen for her and to let her father, with whom (6) there is no arguing, alone. Copy the paragraph below using copy then put brackets around each relative pronoun in the passage below. If the same form is repeated, select it each time it appears. The slave whom Mendax helps belonged to Zethus. He was searching for his wife, who used to bake bread for Zethus and whom Zethus had sent to another bakery in Calabria.
