You will only practice the masculine forms on this list to help you master the meanings of the words. The Gender of an Adjective...? Unlike English, Spanish nouns have a gender, and adjectives need to agree in gender with the word they are describing. ex. El profesor es bajo. La profesora es baja.*Masculineadjectives usually end in -o. Feminine adjectives usually end in -a.Click on each word below to sort the adjectives by gender. Masculine alto bajo atrevido desordenado estudioso gracioso guapo ordenado reservado serio viejo Feminine alta baja atrevida desordenada estudiosa graciosa guapa ordenada seria vieja reservada Exceptions to the rule about masculine and feminine endings. Some adjectives don't end in an -a or -o. Adjectives like sociable that end in an -e and words like joven are both masculine and feminine.Words that end in a consonant sometimes need you to add an -a to make them feminine - trabajador turns to trabajadora.¡Ojo!(That means pay attention!) *Deportistalooks feminine, but is actuallybothmasculineandfeminine.Choose whether the words below are masculine, feminineor both. trabajador masculine feminine both sociable masculine feminine both deportista masculine feminine both impaciente masculine feminine both trabajadora masculine feminine both joven masculine feminine both Yo soy...
