The Subjunctive is NOT a tense. It is a MOOD used in Spanish to talk about actions may not currently exist.The Subjunctive exists in English, but with limited usage as in these examples:John goes to the store. The "I" in WEIRDOS represents impersonal observations. The "R" in WEIRDOS represents recommendations and requests. The "D" in WEIRDOS represents doubts, denial, and disbelief. The "O" in WEIRDOS represents "ojala" (que). The "S" in WEIRDOS represents speculation. To conjugate in the Subjunctive Mood, first conjugate the verb in the"yo" form in the present tense (indicative). Don't forget that some of these verbs are stem changers, gar, car, zar, and irregulars. Espero que nosotros comamos (comer) pollo en la fiesta. ¿Quieres que yo te escuche (escuchar)?
