The Universe
Big Bang and Red Shift Fill in the blanks with information from the video. The Big Bang created the universe. One piece of evidence we use from the electromagnetic spectrumis called a redshift. This is when stars' "fingerprint" lines move into the red zoneof the em spectrum. This red shift indicates that the star is moving awayfrom us. This does not mean the star is turning red, only that the light waves are stretchingout. A blueshift would indicate that the star is moving towardsus.
