Instructions Follow each step below to learn how to create 360 images and AR portals in Metaverse. 1. Materials For this Mission, you will need the following materials:- 1 Smartphone with Metaverse App installed (Google Play Store, ios) 2. Log onto Metaverse Go to the Metaverse WebsiteIf you already have an account, sign in!Otherwise: Click on the "Getting Started" icon and create an account.Note: if you do not have a school email address, or don't want to use a real email address, you can enter @metaverse.com. See the example below! 3. Follow the Video Tutorial: 360 Images and AR Portal Follow the video tutorial below and create your first Metaverse 360 image experience. Knowledge Check: Before you can upload a 360 image to Metaverse, what do you need to do? Nothing, Metaverse has free 360 images you can choose from Download a 360 image from the IM Media Library Attach your smartphone to a VR headset 5. Create your own experience: a VR Scavenger Hunt! The students on Sand Land aren't able to explore much during the hot summer months. Can you create a virtual field-trip hunt that takes the students to different locations and asks them questions about what they saw?Bonus points if your experience teaches the students about sustainability!Your Metaverse scavenger hunt should include:1. A home page for describing the experience2. At least two 360 images from the VR Media Library (either in VR or AR portal mode)3. At least two quiz questions that ask the students about what they saw and advances them to the next section if they are correct4. A closing screen that thanks the student and ends the experience.5. Any other scenes, images, choices, or sounds that will improve the experience!When you are done, paste the share link in the space below.Stuck? For this challenge, you will use a new Metaverse feature called "items". When a student answers a question correctly, they will receive a prize from that location!First, learn how to use items by watching the video below: here if you don't have access to the youtube video)Next, edit your Metaverse experience from earlier in this lesson to include at least two items! When a student gets a correct answer, they get a souvenir You can even use the items to "unlock" secret locations at the end of the experience.
