Fill in the blanks correctly. The legislative branch of the U.S. government is represented by the U.S. Congress which has two parts: the House of Representatives and the Senate. The House of Representatives consists of 435 members. A representative's term is 2 years. One must be at least 25 years old and a citizen of the United States for at least 7 years to become a representative. The Senate has 100 members. A senator's term is 6 years. One must be at least 30 years old and a citizen of the United States for at least 9 years to become a senator. Both representatives and senators must live in the state they represent.
