To find the mean of a set of data you need to add all the numbers together then divide by how many numbers there are in the data set. The mean is also called average, fair share and balance point. Find the MEAN of the data set. Use a calculator 😀 3, 9, 0, 9, 6, 2, 6 6 5 35 7 To find the median of a set of data, you need to put the numbers in order and then find the middle number. If there are two middle numbers, you need to find the mean of the two numbers. Therefore, you need to add up the two middle numbers and divide the sum by two. Find the MEDIAN of the data set: 3, 9, 0, 9, 6, 2, 6 2 6 8 9 The mode of a data set is the number that occurs the most. You can have one mode, many modes (if you have a 'tie' for numbers that occur the most), or no mode (if no numbers duplicate). Find the MODE of the data set:3, 9, 0, 9, 6, 2, 6 9 6 9 and 6 0 How do you find the mean of a data set? add up all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are. find the middle number (in a sorted list of numbers). look for the number that appears most often in a set of numbers. find the difference between the lowest and highest values. Find the mean of the data given in the line plot below. (Add up the numbers and divide by how many numbers you have). Use calculator 😀 $8 $24 $2 $3 Find the mean, median and mode of each data set. Use a calculator 😀 Put your answers in the table. For the mode - if there is more than one mode put a space in between each number but no comma. If there is no mode, write none. DATA SET MEAN MEDIAN MODE 2, 5, 1, 3, 4 3 3 none 5, 0, 3, 7, 4, 4, 5 4 4 4 5 9, 6, 4, 9 7 7.5 9
