Writing a Topic Sentence

Directions: Write a topic sentence for each paragraph. Make sure your topic sentence expresses the main idea of the paragraph. Remember: You will need a SUBJECT and CONTROLLING IDEA that shows the main idea for the entire paragraph. Use a capital letter at the beginning of your sentence and use a period at the end.
