Master English collocations & advice! Practice 'should' and listening skills.
Hello everyone, today we are going to do the lesson Problems, Problems!(page 11).Open your notebook and be ready to take notes.Take a look at exercise 2. For all three situations choose one of the possible answers. Then choose one of the situations and write your answer in the discussion explaining why you chose that answer. Listening: Zak has a problemRead the three summaries of a dialogue below. Then listen to the dialogue. Which is the best summary? Zak refuses to go out with Tom because he is disappointed about his exam results. Zak is anxious about his exams and decides not to go out with Tom. Zak is relieved that his exams are six weeks away, and agrees to go out with Tom. SHOULD is the verb used when giving advice:We often use: I think.... + should. Write A, B, C, or D on the line. You are going to listen to dialogues B,C and D again to complete the collocations (=words that go together) with the given verbs. Take a look at some of the most common collocations with the verb HAVE. It's your turn now. Choose one of the following verbs: make, do, give, or take, and write it in the middle.
