FINAL EXAM PART 1: READING COMPREHENSION AND WRITING
1.Let´s read a text about charity shops.Read the items and think: What do the family usually buy?TICK the items they buy. There are lots of charity shops in our town. A charity shop is a place where you take old toys, clothes, books and other things that you don’t want. The shop sells them and gives the money to help people. I usually go to the charity shops every Saturday morning with my Dad. I often buy model kits or sometimes I find stickers or trading cards for my collections. They’re a lot cheaper than new toys. My dad always buys books. He says they’re more expensive in the bigger shops. He sometimes buys board games for me and my brother. They’re much cooler than computer games. My little brother always wants to buy soft toys but Dad says "No, you can´t buy soft toys". He always says new soft toys are better than old ones. My sister likes buying things that are silver or gold, like bracelets and key rings. I don’t buy puzzle books from charity shops because they always have writing in them and I never buy felt-tip pens either – they never work!
