My health
Fill in the gaps with the missing words. Luckily I’m quite a healthy person and I haven’t had to spend much time in hospitals. I was in the hospital only once when I had my tonsils taken out. I’ve sprained my ankle and torn a ligament a couple of times when playing hockey but I’ve never actually broken a bone. I often have hay fever, especially in May and June because I am allergic to pollen. It’s horrible and I hate it but it only lasts for a few weeks. But I’ve never had anything really serious, like asthma. I do have a cold every winter which can be a real nuisance. The symptoms are awful: a runny nose, a cough, high temperature and a sore throat. I suppose, I’m quite a happy person, too, and I have never had problems sleeping but I do occasionally feel stressed out, especially around exam time. To be healthy, I do regular exercise and I usually try to eat well, too. I think the most dangerous disease in my country is probably cancer. There are many different types of it. I think the main reason for that is all the chemicals in our food and the pollution around us. People’s lifestyle doesn't help either. A lot of people eat badly, smoke and drink too much alcohol. And they don’t do much exercise, either. There are other diseases which are a result of unhealthy lifestyles like a heart attack or diabetes.
