In comparison to cruise ships ferries have more basic accommodation and services. Cruise ships on the other hand are luxurious and are like hotels or small cities on water. The accommodation varies but can be large and spacious and the vessel has numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as other entertainment and activities such as theatres, swimming pools, climbing walls etc. 8.
