When Old Dan and Little Ann find the first coon, Billy lets his GRANDPA let out a big “whoop”. They hear a strange noise and realized that Billy’s dogs must have chased the coon through the CAMP , startling all the dogs. Billy’s dogs catch one coon and tree another one, but GRANDPA falls into the river and Billy has to stop and help him before catching the second coon. While Old Dan and Little Ann look for a third coon, the group makes a fire so GRANDPA can try to dry his clothes. Suddenly, the hear Old Dan howling and realize that they’ve tracked down a third coon. The group scrambles after the dogs, but by the time they arrive, the coon has pulled a TRICK and disappeared. Old Dan arrives and manages to find the last coon, qualifying Billy for the final round of the competition, the RUN-off round. Only 3 hunters total are in the final round including Billy. Old Dan and Little Ann tree a coon almost right away, but it jumps into a RIVER. Old Dan and Little Ann jump in after it, and Billy is afraid that the coon will DROWN one of them. They survive, and Billy catches his first coon of the RUN-off finals.
