Anthem of Europe On 9 May each year we celebrate Europe Day. Listen to the Anthem of Europe. To celebrate Europe Day, you will create a fact file for the European country of your choice (you cannot choose Croatia). In order to create the fact file, complete the tasks below. Use the Internet to do your research. The name of the country you've chosen is... Its capital city is... Country's location Colour or mark with an X country's location on the map. Upload the picture of its flag. Click on Insert imageicon. What language(s) is spoken there? Write some example phrases in its language. For instance, how do they greet each other, say yes thank you, I love you... Name the bordering countries and seas. What are some famous landmarks? Name a few famous people and the reason(s) they are famous for. What's the population of the country you've chosen? What's its size? What food is popular there? What drinks are popular there? What are some popular activities there? Who is the Head of State? What's the name of their national anthem? List some other interesting facts about the country you've chosen.
