Perhaps the author is trying to show us that the truth can be complicated. Perhaps the author is trying to show us that you shouldn't trust everyone you meet. If you do NOT have enough evidence to support a Theme, then what do you need to do? Go back through the S.L.I.M.E. process again. Stare into the darkness of the metaphysical abyss and pray that it does not stare back. Google "how to theme" and pray that you find relevant results. You don't need evidence to support a Theme.
