The boy finally got his name, Erik, from a fortune teller his mother Madam Delia At times, Erik would go off alone and sing to himself because he was lonely and no one loved him. he could make more money from the freak show. he wanted to learn to be a ventriloquist. The friends he made at the freak shows became jealous of Erik because he stole their money when they weren't looking. learned their tricks and performed them better. wore a mask so they couldn't recognize him.
