Making Connections
Master reading connections: Text to Self, Text to Text, Text to World!
Making connections is the process of relating what you are reading to your own personal experiences or background knowledge. Students will sort the statements into those that make connections to personal experiences (text to self), those that make connections to ideas in other texts (text to text), and those that make connections to society (text to world).
