The Bluebirds

It was a warm spring day. The sun was shining and the flowers were in full bloom. Kayla was outside playing in her backyard when she heard a noise coming from a nearby tree. She went over to the tree and looked up between the branches. Chirp! Chirp! Kayla saw two bluebirds making a nest. The bluebirds flew back and forth finding grass, twigs, and mud to use in the nest.Kayla watched for another minute then ran into the house. She went to her room and dug out her camera from her desk drawer. She hung the camera around her neck and raced back outside. Kayla climbed the tree quietly so she didn’t alarm the birds.
