Exposition Peak vandalized a building by painting a mountain peak on it, and he got arrested for it Josh wanted Peak to climb Mount Everest and be the youngest climber to reach the summit. Josh took Peak to Thailand in order to avoid Peak going to jail. Sun-jo’s father saved Josh and died in the process. Peak had not seen or heard from his father in 7 years. He showed up at the trial. Rising Action Zopa got sick (the stomach bug), so he couldn’t finish the climb with Sun-jo, Peak, Yogi and Yashi. Peak saved Sun-jo from falling off an ice wall on Mt. Everest Peak realized that Sun-jo had not told the truth about Zopa’s plan for him to climb Mt. Everest. Peak’s mom told him to be selfish as he climbed because the last time that she ever climbed, she was not selfish. She was worried about Peak and ended up breaking her hip. Josh tricked the other climbers to think that Peak wasn’t going to the summit. Captain Shek spies on the climbing team because he is looking for Sun-jo. Holly decided not to finish the climb to the summit. Peak realized that Rolf was a better father than Josh. Peak realized that Josh is using him for publicity for his adventure company. Climax Peak let Sun-jo be the youngest person to reach the summit Falling Action Sun-jo becomes the youngest person to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. He gets money to go to school. Resolution Peak returns home to New York and reunites with his family.
