Master literary conflict! Learn to identify man vs. self, nature, man, & society conflicts in stories.

Interactive Notebook Activity (IRLN L3) Use this video to glue down page 20 notes in your notebook. You will use the different parts of the rest of this Wizer.Me to fill out the notes. At the end of this video, you JUST need to have cut and pasted the notes paper... NO NOTES YET! Let's Get that Notebook READY! What IS Conflict? Write the definition below below the flaps on page 20.CONFLICT is a struggle between opposing forces or characters. WITHOUT conflict, the story would be BORING! A story can have SEVERAL conflicts, but the MAIN conflict is central to the plot (as in the story would be nothing without it!) and is usually resolved at the RESOLUTION part of the plot structure. Types of Conflict Although there is only one type of INTERNAL conflict (man vs. self), there are three types of EXTERNAL conflict making four types of conflict in all. Use this video to glue down page 21 in your notebook. When you're ready for the notes, read on! 6.5a Elements of Fiction Use the Quizlet to find the definitions to write UNDER the correct flap.
