EcD3 Basic Bio: Organisms

Over the last few days we've been practicing with some new words. Let's review Match the words to their definition Bio Life Abiotic Not Alive Let's practice matching our biomes Tundra Very cold and snowy with no trees Desert Hot during the day and no trees Deciduous Forest Where we live! Colorful trees in the fall and not too hot or wet Rainforest Hot and wet with LOTS of trees Grassland Lots of grass but few trees Todays vocabulary word is Organism. An organism is a single living creature. Here are some examples:One CatOne DogOne ElephantOne FlowerOne Tree What's your favorite organism? Ecologists study organisms to see how they live. You can be an ecologist if you study different organisms and how they live! Choose one of your organisms from your diorama and try to find the answers to the questions using the internet. Questions Find the answer by looking it up on the internet Does your organism like the cold or hot? Does your organism like to live alone or in groups? Does your organism have fur? What does your organism eat? Does your organism sleep during the day or at night? Would your organism make a good pet? Is your diorama done already or do you need more time? It's done :) It's not done yet but I can get it done by this weekend :) I need more help and more time please :)
