Health is a combination of physical, mental and social well-being. wellness is a state of well-being, or total health. decisions are choices that you make. consequences results of actions. abstinence is not participating in high-risk behaviors self-esteem is a measure of how much you like and respect yourself. values are beliefs you feel strongly about that help guide the way you live. goal is something you hope to accomplish. role-model is a person whose success or behavior serves as a good example for others. behavior is the way you act in the many different situations and events in your life. attitude is what you believe or feel about someone or something. health skills are skills that help you become and stay healthy. communication is the clear exchange of ideas and information. habit is a pattern of behavior that you follow almost without thinking.
