Free Word Online Pages (on or after Oct 1, 2013) OpenOffice Writer Google Docs Zoho Paid Word 2013 Word Perfect Pages (before Oct 1, 2013) Creating a Document Using the tabs in the Buzz reading, label the diagram according to its parts. Make sure to type exactly what is in each tab. Logging In Recent Documents New Documents Templates The Ribbon: Home Tab create bulleted and numbered lists; increase or decrease the indent of an entire paragraph; align text to the left, right, or center; and modify line spacing Undo Clipboard Font Paragraph Styles Editing a variety of preformatted styles you can apply to your text Undo Clipboard Font Paragraph Styles Editing undo or reverse your most recent action Undo Clipboard Font Paragraph Styles Editing search and replace words in a document Undo Clipboard Font Paragraph Styles Editing change the way font is displayed onscreen Undo Clipboard Font Paragraph Styles Editing copy, cut, and paste text on the document Undo Clipboard Font Paragraph Styles Editing The View Tab to see what page you are on, the total number of pages in the document, and the word count Document View Show Zoom It Allows you to zoom in or out. You can select 100% to return to normal size at any time. Document View Show Zoom look at your document in two different ways Document View Show Zoom Finding and Replacing Find and Replace This can correct every instance of an error in a few seconds Find If you only need to see where a word, phrase, or punctuation mark is used in your document Creating a List Open up Word Online (NOT Google Docs) and follow the directions to create a bulleted list. (On slide 8) Then, share the doc (using the blue share button at the top of the screen) with me through Buzz. Make sure to follow ALL directions to get full credit. Make sure you save the file as Buzz tells you to. Give Me Some Space Complete the "Give Me Some Space" paragraph exercise in Buzz. You may use the same document as the bulleted list, if you wish. If not, you will have to upload both documents to Buzz. You have finished the reading assignment for this lesson. However, you now have your assignment (slide 10) to complete in Word.
