Harmony The supporting part of the song; Think of the legs of a table. Rhythm The organized patterns of the song; quarter, half, whole, eighth, etc. Tempo The speed of the music; fast, medium, or slow. Time Signature Specifies how many beats are in each measure and what kind of note gets the beat Dynamics The loudness or softness of sound. Think of the volume switch on the radio.
