Like a photograph it tells the audience what is happening in that one moment. Even though the actors are still and not talking. A tableau is an electronic device similar to a phone, however it is normally bigger and can be used to watch movies, play games and complete homework on. A tableau is a section of a script, it can sometimes be referred to as a scene. During a tableau actors say their lines and act out what is in the script. In drama what does the term blocking mean? When one actor stands in front of another actor meaning the the audience can not see the other actor or what is going on, on stage. When an actor picks up a stage block, brings it on stage and places it in its correct spot on stage. Similar to the robot, blocking is a dance that was popular in the 1980s-1990s. Blocking refers to a particular way an actor walks on stage, it is usually very stiff and the actor moves is sharp defined movements. Why is voice projection important in the theatre? Voice projection is important so that the audience can hear what you are saying clearly so that they can understand what is going on in the story. Especially without a microphone because they are not always available in the space that you are using. Voice projection is important because I need to be the loudest on the stage. It does not matter what others are saying as long as I am heard. Voice projection is important because if everyone else is loud I have to be equally as loud and I can do this using voice projection. Why is it important to have focus on stage? Focus is important on stage so that I can stay in character, therefore the audience will believe what I am doing. If I do not have focus and laugh whilst I am on stage it disrupts the flow of the piece as well as may distract the other actors. Focus is important on stage because then I will be the best and people will always be paying attention to me. If I have good focus then I will not have any issues with learning my lines. Focus is important on stage so that I can be good at drama.
