The History Test One afternoon, Mr. Sparks asked Rashan to hand back that week's history tests to the class. Rashan was surprised to see that his paper was the first one in the pile. A proud smile lit up his face when he saw that he had received the top score. His older sister, Alisa, had helped him study, and he couldn't wait to show her the results of their hard work. Rashan placed his paper on his desk and moved on to pass out the rest of the papers. The next paper in the pile belonged to Rashan's best friend, Calvin. The smile fell from Rashan's face when he noticed that Calvin's paper was covered in red ink. Calvin had received a much lower score than Rashan because, instead of studying, Calvin had gone to the movies.
