Create an accademic goal for Quarter 4.Remember: Third Quarter and Fourth Quarter are combined to make your semester grade. Think about what you could do in Quarter 4 to help your semester grades. Remember make sure your goal is SMART:Specific - Tell me exactly what your goal is. Do not just say "my goal is to do better." Be specific. (Example: I want to raise my grade in reading class OR I want to pass math.)Measurable - How will you measure your goal? Percentage points? Time spent on schoolwork outside of class? Grades on future assignments? This should be a number of some kind. (Example: I want to raise my grade in reading by at least five percentage points OR I want to make at least an 80% on my next math test.)Attainable - Make sure this is a goal you can reach. I want you to stretch yourself, but I also want you to be able to accomplish your goal. (Example: I want to bump my grade up by one letter grade INSTEAD OF I want to bump my grade up by three letter grades.)Relevant - Your goal should have something to do with your grades. You should also be able to tell me what actions you plan to take in an effort to reach your goal.Timely - Give yourself a timeline. How long will it take you to reach your goal? (Example: I want to raise my grade by the end of the second week of April.) Is this class helping you? If so, tell me how. If not, tell me why. What can Mrs. King do to help you become the very best version of yourself? Be specific. I really want to help you succeed and build your self-efficacy. What do you think is keeping you from being the best YOU possible? Tell me at least two things that are hindering you from success.1. One should be something you can control or change.2. The other should be something in your life that you do not have control over and connot personally change.
