Exit Ticket #1 Once a bored shepherd boy decided to amuse himself by yelling, “Wolf! Wolf! The Wolf is chasing the sheep!” The villagers came running up the hill to help the boy drive the wolf away, but when they arrived at the top of the hill, they only found the shepherd boy laughing at the sight of their angry faces. The villagers shouted, “Don’t cry wolf, when there is none,” and they went grumbling back to the village. Later, the boy tried it again, and to the naughty boy’s delight, the villagers ran up the hill to help him defend the sheep, only to be angry at him again. Later, he saw a REAL wolf prowling around, and he cried out again, ”Wolf! Wolf!” But the villagers ignored him because they thought he was up to his foolish pranks. At sunset, an old woman went to find him and the sheep, only to find him weeping that the sheep were gone. I cried out, 'Wolf!'
