The first branch is the legislativebranch which makes or creates laws. This branch can make changes to laws called amendments. They also create and ratifylaws, or approve them. The second branch is called the executivebranch. This branch is the one that enforces the laws. The President heads this branch. The President can vetolaws or cancel them. If the President makes a mistake however, the legislative branch can impeachhim, or charge him with a mistake. However, the President can appointpeople to work various jobs in the government. The third branch is called the Judicialbranch. This branch deals with courts and judges. However, what is most important is the ability to vote called suffrage. All people must vote to pick government officials.
