In the past they used quills and chalk. Today we use markers, colored pencils and whiteboards. In the past students used only a few types of books: the Bible grammar and history books. Today we have different varieties of books like chapter books, picture books and graphic novels. But a hundred and fifty years ago there were no video games, TV or watching movies. Kids would like to play hopscotch they would do plays together and they performed in the schools. In the past bathrooms were made from wood. They used newspapers old catalogs and corn cobs for toilet paper like this one. It’s kind of disgusting. Today we have toilets and also we have toilet paper, hand dryers and sinks. In the past years, the boys sat on one side and the girls on the other side. Today boys and girls sit together on the same table. One hundred and fifty years ago, they do not have school buses. They only had horses and carriages they did not have cars and skateboards. About a hundred and fifty years ago, students went to school by horses and now we have cars.
