Spelling-This week we are studying the â sound. This is the sound that you make if you open your mouth and pretend you are an opera singer. Try it yourself, â. Spelling Sort Sort the â sound by the four different spellings for this sound. a au al ough High Frequency Words- Say each word with me. Then we will spell it together. You may write it on a piece of paper as we spell together, just like we did in class on whiteboards. cityfathermothero'clockown Vocabulary- Listen to the word and what it means. I will ask you a question. Pause my voice and answer the question. Say your answer to a parent, brother, sister or pet. Then play my audio again and do the same for the rest of the words. Have fun! Reading Listen to the Monday Reading Lesson in Google Classroom and learn about the Plot of a story. Writing- Write about one event from your weekend, just like we would do in our journals each Monday. Please add detail about the event and make sure you have at least 5 sentences in your paragraph. You may write it on paper or type it down below. I can't wait to hear what you did! Math Today we will complete the test for Chapter 11 on pages 771-774.
