Exercise 1 Write down 4 connectives which are used in the text 'The Life Cycle of the Dragonfly' above. Exercise 2 - More connectives We all know that 'and', 'but' and 'because' are connectives. However, these are just some basic connecctives that everyone uses. Use Google to find 10 more connectives and write them down here. Exercise 2B - Use them in a sentence Choose 5 of the connectives you found and see if you can use them in a sentence. After, the female lays the eggs on a leaf in a pond. When the eggs hatch, the become nymphs. The nymphs live in the pond until they develop into dragonflies. Finally the nymphs shed their skin to become dragonflies.
