Mean To find the mean of a data set, you add all of the numbers together, then divide by the number of values in the set. Median To find the median of a data set, you put the numbers in order from least to greatest. If it is an odd data set, the median is the number in the middle. If it is an even data set, the median is the mean of the middle two numbers. Mode The mode of a data set is the number that occurs the most often. A data set can have one, none, or multiple modes. To find the range of a data set you subtract the smallest value FROM the largest value. Find the mean, median, mode and range. Round to the nearest TENTH if necessary.
