It was brilliant! The owner, Dana Barre, opened the sanctuary in 2010 to help homeless farm animals. 60 animals live there.I saw cows, turkeys, roosters, hens, ducks and even llamas! I took photos of all the animals.I took a great selfie of me with a llama.The animals were really friendly. We played with the animals. I even held a small turtle in my hands. We also fed the animals with grass, grain, and corn. We gave them water, too. G. I did some cleaning too. There were a lot of other kids at the sanctuary, too. We learnt a lot about how to take care of animals. We spent a few hours helping Dana. Anna drew a beautiful picture of one of the horses and she gave it to Dana as a present. Unfortunately, one of the boys fell and hit his knee. Anyway, he told me that it didn't hurt much.
