The color wheel is used in art to explain the relationships between colors. To start we need to identify Primary and Secondary colors. What's the difference? Primary colors are the ones that cannot be made using other colors. They are RED, BLUE, and YELLOW.Secondary colors are made by mixing Primary colors together. They are GREEN, PURPLE, and ORANGE. Put the colors in the correct categories Primary Colors Red Blue Yellow Secondary Colors Green Orange Purple What does Complementary mean on the Color Wheel? Complementary colors are opposite each other on the Color Wheel. When they are mixed together, they cancel each other out, making them neutral. When placed next to each other, they create a high contrast that is stronger than any other color combination. They are the colors that are mixed using Primary and Secondary colors. On the Color Wheel, you can find them between the Primary and Secondary colors that make them.
