Similarities between the functions of Circulatory System and the cytoplasm
Discover how the circulatory system and cytoplasm work similarly to stabilize cells and the body!
The Circulatory System and the Cytoplasm The circulatory system does not only transport materials. In fact, the circulatory system helps to stabilize your body temperature in order to maintain internal homeostasis. This particular function can relate to the cytoplasm because the cytoplasm is the gel-like fluid that helps to support and stabilize all of the organelles in a particular cell. They are similar because they both help to stabilize different components of the body or cell. Circulatory System The circulatory system is very important because it performs vital jobs which help our bodies stay alive. This particular system transports nutrients, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones, and blood cells to and from the body to help fight diseases. The circulatory system consists of three distinct parts: cardiovascular (heart), pulmonary (lungs), and systemic (arteries, veins, and vessels). These three systems are responsible for transporting materials around the body. What Does the Circulatory System Do?The circulatory system is made up of blood vessels that carry blood away from and towards the heart.Arteriescarry blood away from the heart andveinscarry blood back to the heart. The circulatory system carries oxygen, nutrients, and hormones to cells, and removes waste products, like carbon dioxide. These roadways travel in one direction only, to keep things going where they should. What are the three distinct parts of the Circulatory System? The right side pumps blood to the lungs to get oxygen, The left side of the heart pumps the oxygen-filled blood to everywhere else in the body to take food, water, and oxygen to the cells. Cytoplasm Cytoplasm is the gel like liquid inside the cell. It is about 80 % water. Organelles and some proteins are suspended in the cytoplasm of the cell. Cytoplasm helps to maintain cell shape. How would you recognize the cytoplasm organelle? What is a similarity the cytoplasm and Circulatory System share? They are both organelles They both help stabilize different parts of the body or cell They are both found in only eukaryotic cells
