Fill in the blanks on motivation types. Intrinsicmotivation is when someone participates in physical activity because of internal drives. There are twospecific parts to intrinsic motivation:1. PositiveIntrinsic motivation, where something is done for satisfaction.2. NegativeIntrinsic motivation is when someone is motivated by avoidingpain or embarrassmentExtrinsicmotivation is when an individual is motivated by external factors. Tangibleextrinsic motivation means someone is motivated by trophies, money and prizes. If they were motivated by praise and public acclaim, this would be IntangibleExtrinsic motivation.Amotivationis the complete absence of motivation of any kind.Need Achievement Theory suggest there are 2 personality types. Need to Achieve, or Need to avoidfailure.Individuals can be either task or ego(outcome) orientated. This is known as Achievement Goal Theory.Self Determination theory says there are 3 main factors which impact motovation. Autonomy, Relatednessand Competence.Weiner's Attribution Theory is used to explain success or failure in sport. It says that athlete will explain success or failure in terms of 3 categories: Stability, Causality and Control.
