Scope and Delimitation (Curie)
Master the art of defining research! This worksheet helps you identify the scope and delimitation of any study.
Using the statement inside the word bank, fill each gap with the correct answer to create the scope and delimitation. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of coronavirus disease (COVID-19 pandemic to the sales of garments business particularly the barong and gowns. The study will be conducted in San Roque, Malilipot, Albay for the period of Third Quarter, School Year 2021-2022. This study will cover at least ninety (90) percent of the population of garments business. The respondents of the study will be limited to the proprietors of the garments business since they are the one who knows the status of their business. They will be selected using a snowball sampling technique which will allow the researcher to reach the population easily. Using the statement inside the word bank, fill each gap with the correct answer to create the scope and delimitation. The present study will focus on the use of plastic fines aggregates resulting from the crushing of plastic bottles waste rejected into nature and to find new ways of valorization in the field of construction. One (1) kilogram of plastic wastes will be obtained from the junk shop owned by the family of one of the researchers to carry out this experiment in the house of one of the researchers too during the months of November to December 2021.The plastics that will be utilized in this study will be limited to PET bottle at percentage of 0.5%, 1.0% and 1.5% as replacement for fine aggregate in the concrete. The researchers shall follow the posttest only controlled group design of a true experimental research design to compare the concrete with and without plastic bottles waste. In this study, there will be an exclusion of laboratory testing which includes compressive strength test, splitting tensile strength test and flexural tensile test considering the IATF restrictions. This study will cover only the observational quality and measurable quantity that can be done by the researchers using available resources in their residences.
