Listen Forms have and not are commonly contracted in speaking. Think back! This is just to make sure you understand the difference between 'you are almost certain that something happened' and 'you know that something happened', e.g. you would not say: John must have come by bike if you saw John on his bike. You would say: John must have come by bikeif you can see a bike pump and helmet on his desk but you did not actually see him on his bike.Alos, you can use can't to talk about something you are sure did not happen but you cannot use can to talk about something that you think possibly happened.
