I turned on the flashlight andopened the door carefully. Thebeam of the flashlight lit up ourfront porch. My mom knocked on the door.“Turn out the lights and go to bed!”she yelled at me. I jumped underthe covers. There was a loud bang and thena huge firework burst into the air.The sky was filled with color.
