When the shepherd boy laughs the villagers get angry and disappointed. One day, there is a real wolf near the sheep but the villagers don't believe the shepherd. When the wolf attacks the sheep the shepherd boy is very sad. Why does the boy cry 'Wolf! Wolf!'? Because... he is sleepy. he is bored. he is angry. Why do the villagers get angry? Because... they are hungry. they work very hard. the boy lies to them. When the boy lies to the villagers they feel... dishonest. disappointed. bored. One day, there is a real wolf near the sheep. The boy is scared and shouts 'Wolf! Wolf!' But... the wolf eats the sheep. the villagers don't help the boy. the shepherd boy starts to cry. Finally, the boy learns his lesson: Villagers don't like wolves. When you lie all the time, people stops trusting you. Villagers get disappointed if you lie. What do you think the shepherd boy can do when he is bored? Give him some ideas. For example: 1) He can play with other children in the village. Draw you favourite part of the fable.
