What is gratitude? We know that it is good to be grateful. But did you know that gratitude is good for your body? It can even cure illness! Research shows that gratitude leads to happiness. Research also shows that gratitude is good for our brains, decreases pain, helps us sleep better, relieves stress, reduces anxiety and depression, increases energy, and reduces depression. Monday 4 - Brainstorm and answer the two questions below. What are YOU grateful for? Brainstorm and list the first 3 things you are most grateful for today. Where have you seen gratitude lived out around you? Think about where you have seen others being grateful. Brainstorm and list the first 3 things you think of.(Example: People thanking nurses, grocery store workers, or teachers. A neighbor reaching out to make sure their friends are safe.) Tuesday Wednesday 4 4 - Your Thankful Mission! Now that you have had a chance to reflect on gratitude and what you are grateful for, your mission is to intentionally THANK people you are thankful for. This could be in your home or out in your community. Fill in the table below. Who did you thank? What did you thank them for? Thursday Friday 4 4 - Letter Writing! I miss you and want to connect with you! Write a letter to your teacher. Respond to both of the following prompts:1. What is one thing you are grateful for in your life? (You can use the notes you took on this paper)2. What does a typical day look like for you right now? Walk us through a day in the life of YOU!
